Rejection hurts, knowing you peaked at 12, hurts, knowing your life will never amount to be as rich, hurts, and like every other person on this planet, when the time comes to grow up ( aka becoming a daddy), we accept, deal with it and move on. Or… we sue a dead man for not loving us the same way we did. It can’t get any more cliche, ask any scorned 50 year old divorcee.
